I visit the ENINGU KALAHARI LODGE every time I am in Namibia. It's so much better spending the remainder of the visit at Eningu Kalahari Lodge rather than in Windhoek - both are close the international airport, but the lodge is so much more tranquil. The gravel roads are very good. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable, albeit rustic. Because the lodge is so small, the staff quickly make you feel welcome and at home. The food is also good and portions are generous (I love the little afternoon coffee & cake station). The winter days get warm enough that one can even jump into the pool during the winter months. Local wildlife is always near - at night you can hear the jackals, porcupines and owls. The PEPERKORREL Farm is adjacent, where an incredible collection of statues by renowned artist Dorte Berner are exhibited. A day-visit can be arranged through ENINGU KALAHARI LODGE.

A warm atmosphere and very welcoming staff. You can easily spend a relaxing day there without getting bored: hiking, volleyball, badminton, swimming pool. Excellent cuisine, good wines. A magnificent lodge that I highly recommend!

Eningu Lodge was the perfect start to our trip. You can immediately see how much love and attention to detail has gone into this lodge. Everything is impeccably maintained, the rooms are beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. We highly recommend this lodge. The food was absolutely fantastic every day. Our hosts, Christian and Clive, were incredibly friendly and gave us some great tips for the rest of our trip, which were truly helpful. The surrounding area is also beautiful. There's a waterhole on the property where you can spot some wildlife. There are also small hiking trails with information panels about the area, local animals, and plants, which are really fascinating. We'd love to come back!
Great lodge, super friendly staff...only about an hour from the airport.

It was a chance stop-over on the way to Windhoek, so we only enjoyed it for the evening - I wish we could have stayed longer. The environment is breathtaking, the staff is super attentive and friendly and the cottages are supercute. Will definitely be back!

A relaxed, peaceful place with attention to detail. Christian is a wonderful host. You can tell the lodge is important to him and he wants all his guests to be happy. The rooms are a bit dated, but clean. We had a great time.

A fantastic lodge nestled in nature. Beautiful semi-detached houses with plenty of space between them. The houses are built from natural materials, with comfortable beds and lovely furnishings. Unfortunately, there was no refrigerator. Air conditioning units are planned for installation soon. We were able to leave a few things to cool in the kitchen. The kitchen is excellent. The chef prepares the meals from memory, as he is illiterate. The results are impressive. Christian, the owner, is very attentive to his guests' well-being. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely return.

Oh, how wonderful! Arriving and feeling at home. That was the perfect start to our Namibia tour. The peace and quiet, the hospitality, the design of the lodge, and the food are simply fantastic. Thank you so much.

Unfortunately we just had one night there while our trip with Taruk. It is a wonderful lodge with a lot of details fitting perfectly to africa/namibia...from the dishes...to the blankets...to the pieces of art in the houses. It is a complete concept, a mindset. Everything we needed was there. But without turning it into one of these ridiculous show off luxury lodges. All the stuff members were great and the dinner was breathtaking.

Incredible place with outstanding hospitality. We learned so much from the self guided nature walk. We really appreciated Christian arranging visit to Dörte Berner’s museum nearby. A day to remember!

Eningu Kalahari Lodge is an absolute gem and one of the highlights of our time in Namibia. The lodge offers a perfect balance of comfort, tranquillity, and authentic wilderness experience, and set on the edge of the Kalahari, you get to experience the famous red sand. We loved the wide open landscapes, and an incredible sense of peace, as well as the wonderful walking trails around the lodge. Our accommodation was spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully appointed. The rooms are just a short walk away from the main lodge, so an afternoon nap can be enjoyed without disturbance. The staff truly make Eningu special. Every interaction was warm, genuine, and professional, and we felt welcomed from the moment we arrived. Meals were another highlight—delicious, well-prepared, and generously portioned, enjoyed in a relaxed atmosphere with unforgettable Kalahari sunsets as a backdrop. Evenings under the stars were magical, with some of the clearest night skies we’ve ever seen. Whether you’re stopping over on your way through Namibia or planning a longer stay, Eningu Kalahari Lodge is the perfect place to slow down, reconnect with nature, and experience the quiet beauty of the desert. We would return without hesitation and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Namibia.

I had a wonderful stay at Eningu. The staff were very warm and friendly. The food was delicious, and I appreciated the chef going the extra mile to cater to my dietary restrictions. The rooms and interiors are beautifully decorated. I loved seeing some of Dôrter Berner's sculptures on the premises, as well as her husband's beautiful carpets. I was up early and saw various antelopes. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We really enjoyed our overnight in Eningu. We were highly welcomed and had the pleasure to enjoy our last day in Africa at that beautiful and unique place. The rooms as well as the swimming pool were totally clean. You could enjoy some hiking trails getting to know more about wildlife and nature around, could chill at the waterhole and watch out for animals or relax at the calm and enjoyable swimming pool area. The food was excellent as well as the service. We also loved to get to know more about the lodge by having a chat with the owner Bettina. It was just a lovely stay and we can recommend 100%. Thanks so much Bettina for your kindness, we will definitely come back at some point in time! Anna & Andre

We were there for one night and arrived at midday. Very tasty food for every meal! The rooms are neat and clean. The accommodation is somewhat remote and is very relaxing and quiet. There is a pool and even a small water hole where you can watch animals. We saw a kudu, warthogs, meerkats, squirrels and many other animals. Very friendly hostess. Highly recommended!
