The Kitchen
Enjoy fresh, innovative meals prepared in the kitchen with homemade bread, game meat from the farm, and seasonal vegetables, herbs, and salads from our garden.
Breakfast
Served buffet-style between 07:30 and 09:30.
Lunch
During breakfast, you may select a light lunch from the menu provided.
Please write your choice under your room number.
Lunch is served at 13:00.
Tea, Coffee & Cake
Available daily at 16:00 in the restaurant.
Please help yourself.
Dinner
Dinner is a three-course meal.
Winter (first weekend of April to first weekend of September):
Served at 18:45, either on the veranda or indoors by the fire on colder evenings.
Spring and Autumn:
Served at 19:30, either at the Lapa or on the outside terrace.
Please inform the kitchen well in advance of any food allergies or dietary restrictions.
Eningu Kalahari Lodge
Wine Cellar
Our underground wine cellar is built into the Kalahari sand and natural rock, creating a naturally climate-controlled environment. Clay walls provide ideal humidity, and red wine is served at a perfect 16°C.
The cellar entrance is visible from the Lapa. You are welcome to select your own bottle. Prices are listed on the wine menu, and we will uncork and allow the wine to breathe before dinner.
