From peaceful moments on the roof deck to encounters with nocturnal wildlife, from hands‑on crafts to light‑hearted sports, Eningu offers a range of activities that celebrate nature, culture, and the freedom to explore as you please.

Sundowners
In Namibia, whenever possible, we celebrate sunset with a cold drink. Order your favourite sundowner from our staff and enjoy it on the roof deck.
Our sunsets are truly breathtaking and well worth the pause.

Arts & Crafts
Our Arts and Crafts Shop features textiles, jewellery, and carvings from across Namibia. We support fair-trade organisations and purchase directly from artists. You are welcome to browse at any time.
Guests staying longer are encouraged to visit Dörte Berner’s “Home of Sculptures”, located a 10-minute drive away. We will gladly assist with arrangements.

Explore on Foot
Eningu is your home away from home. Guests may explore freely; nothing is locked or restricted. Items from the curio shop or wine cellar can be taken and noted on your room docket at Reception.
Walking trails lie within the fenced area, with early mornings and late afternoons recommended. Wear closed shoes, sun protection, and carry water. Stay on marked paths, keep voices low, and leave no waste.
The trail includes 38 stations on medicinal plants, wildlife, and local farming practices.

Spotting Nocturnal Animals
After dinner, you may visit the hide to observe nocturnal animals such as jackals and porcupines. Binoculars are recommended, and patience is rewarded.

- Badminton and Volleyball - (located near the archery range)
For jogging, please remain on the main entrance road. The distance to the gate is 5.3 km. Consider heat and altitude (1,487 m) when planning your run.
